What is TASC?The Tuesday Action Shooting Club (TASC) is a USPSA (United States Practical Shooting Association) affiliated club that conducts IPSC shooting matches in Northern California's Silicon Valley / South Bay area. Our matches are conducted as a competitive sporting activity. Safe, responsible, and courteous behavior are expected and required of all participants. The other expectation is that you have FUN. New shooters are always welcome. Many of our members are relatively new to the sport. We also have a number of experienced IPSC shooters who gladly share their knowledge and expertise. Originally, matches were held on Tuesday nights (hence the name). We currently meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month at the Chabot Gun Club in Castro Valley, on range 4. To find out more about IPSC shooting at TASC, see the page on Getting Started. If you are a novice shooter with liitle or no prior IPSC experience, you will be required to attend a Safe Handgun Competitor Course prior to shooting a full match with us. TASC is also one of the first clubs in the USPSA to produce an approved charity match. The Bay Bridge Charity Classic, now in its 15th year, has produced over $126,000 for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots. For more information, call or email one of our club contacts.
